On November 14 2017 Teradja Mitchell was presented with his Under Armour All-American jersey at Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School.

He was joined on stage by his father, sister, girlfriend, and Bishop Sullivan coaches.

During this brief moment we shared laughs and smiles of joys for Mr. Mitchell’s accomplishment.

In attendance we were local media, student body of Bishop Sullivan, BSCHS’s very own principal Dr. Fallon, and many other Bishop Sullivan staff.

Coach Chris Scott gave the crowd a couple words about their relationship and Mr. Mitchell’s success.

He said that Mr. Mitchell made a great choice in choosing Ohio State University, but now it comes down to what he can do academically and how he can get his degree in business and finance.

Coach Scott also talked about Mr. Mitchell’s leadership traits.  He later told us that Mr. Mitchell didn’t just get this award, he had this in his plans and talked about how Mr. Mitchell planned this for his future in the classroom and on the field.

Coach Scott said he was honored to coach him and it will be an honor taking the field one last time on Saturday for Mr. Mitchell’s last high school game. Closing out, Coach Scott thanked Bishop Sullivan Catholic High and the people who helped make this event a success.

Despite not having much to say Mr. Mitchell gave the audience a couple words also. He started off by thanking God and said his success wouldn’t be possible without the man above.

He stated that it is a true honor to play the game and closed his statement by saying “Go Bucks!”
