Senior Armani Chatman has been doing outstanding on and off the football field. Mr. Chatman transferred from Bayside to Bishop Sullivan this year to get himself academically ready for college.
“I transferred to Bishop Sullivan for the education and to get me better prepared for college,” said Mr. Chatman.
Mr. Chatman has been all over the college football radar, but has had a big break in his high school career by committing to the Virginia Tech.
“It’s more to it than that,” said Mr. Chatman. He not only wants to go there for football, he wants to major in “criminal justice or something in the medical field.”
Mr. Chatman also thinks that college will provide him with the academic assistance to be successful. Tutors and the professors will “help you every step of the way while you’re there,” said Mr. Chatman.
It seems Mr. Chatman has a bright future and is ready to tackle any obstacles in his way.
